Shared bottle at local tasting. ABV 7.3%. Cloudy orange colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma, notes of cloves and crushed gooseberries. Spicy flavour, very strong notes of cloves, also notes of Nelson Sauvin hops, but not dominant. Unusual, interesting, and pleasant to drink.

Draught @ Abraxas. Light amber and cloudy. Thin head. The aroma has lots of fresh pale malt. Fairly sweet and a little cloying/doughy. So overall the thickness is maybe a bit much and the sauvin a bit mellow but I like it.

In bottle at The Euston Tap. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a decent, creamy white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, caramel and just a little sauvignon blanc. Similar flavours and a mildly bitter. Moderate carbonation and a chewy mouth-feel. OK.

garza (560) - Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), VENEZUELA - FEB 14, 2012
Pours crisp golden with frothy white head. Grass and spices in the nose with certain citrus touch. Refreshing but a bit flat in flavour with light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness. Light body, oily feel, soft carbonation and astringent finish. What happen here? I was expecting more flavour, aroma and some more character overall with the Nelson Sauvin hop. Regular.

Pours a hazy honey color with a thick foamy white head...nice lacing. Aroma has mild yeasty spice...clove...mild honey notes and some light orange and earthy wheat. Flavor has mild citrus and mild spice...slight tea notes...delicate. mouthfeel is somewhat light and the finish is crisp, dry, and a bit citrusy but not sweet. Where is the 7.3%!
