0.5 l bottle from Kehlheim... Clody orange color, very good head... Strong citrus as well as hop and wheat aroma... Very refreshing taste, perfect for summer... Nice ending... Good Weizen beer, but the Schneider Original is much better...

Finally, the elusive TAP1 came my way naturally! only curious that it is not originally listed here as "TAP 1 - Meine blonde Weisse" as Schneider’s 11 TAPs would numerically cater to all completists’ fantasies... - Ideal Weisse that pours a lighter hue of orange-yellow than the standard TAP7, aromas of almost saison-style wild yeast and citrus, very enticing. Taste is a light mix of typical cultivated Schneider fruity yeast (apple, some clove, but minimal banana) and citrus notes. Ideal smooth and light palate. Compared to the Weizenbricks of TAP7 and Aventinus this truly is a summer style Weizen, yet full of taste and character. Extra points for maximum taste and character despite sessionable ABV and for open fermenters!

Brown, hazy with a white head. Light wheat aroma with some fresh fruits sence. Sweet taste with a longer wheat end.

(Draught at William K Annankatu, 20130413) The beer poured pale orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citricness, clove and fruitiness. Palate was quite light bodied with highish carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, mildly tartness, some grass and low bitterness. Aftertaste didn’t last long and it was fruity and mildly bitter. A weak hefeweizen
