With its light-honey coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine-pored, stable head. It has a fresh, typically top-fermented clove-like aroma. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, harmonious and smoothly rounded. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a spritzig-sour impression.

Quite enjoyable this beer. Huge white head on a slightly hazy straw body, high level of carbonation. Big banana, cloves, some vanilla and a touch of bubblegum, very satisfying and balanced with a slight sour note in the finish.

Opaque light gold, strong white head. Strong banana and clove aroma. Sweet, sour and a bit spicy on the tongue. Finishes on banana and yeast. Delicious Hefe.

Hazy yellow. Classic banana and clove aroma. First a carbonated snap like a lemon, then silky smooth sweet banana and wheat. Lingering crisp citrus, spice, and sweet banana. Really exemplary and smooth as fuck! Wish it was available more often in Hungary.

0,5 l. bottle labeled Schneider Weisse: Meine blonde Weisse [Tap 1]. Courtesy of my beautiful wife, Naty. Pours a cloudy amber color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly and leaves a small lacing. Aroma is a strong Hefeweizen one, highly complex, yeasty and fruity. Moderately intense notes of banana, fresh apricots and fruit salad. Mild notes of coriander, papaya, peaches and other fresh spices. Smooth. Full of subtleties. Taste is interesting. Low sweetness and low bitterness but very flavorful with clear fresh fruits as its distinctive feature. Well attenuated but showing strong spiciness which also dominates the aftertaste. Medium body, mid-high carbonation, smooth-long neutral finish. Long-spicy aftertaste. Wow. A flavorful, smooth and rounded German Hefeweizen. Probably the best I’ve tried so far.
