Dark yellow and hazy. Has a white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is not so good, some kind of odd sweetness. Fatty notes too. Flavor is better, mild sweetness. Light bitter finish.

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden with medium white head. Flavour is malt, hops, wheat, sweet, little grainy, little citrus and a little bitter.

Bottle. Slightly hazy bright yellow, thin white head that doesn’t last long. Aroma is strange, lemony, but with a weird chemical freshness if that makes any sense. Palate is equally weird: thin and watery, with a tart citric entry, papery middle, and an utterly empty finish. On the one hand, I celebrate any gluten-free beer that doesn’t taste like apple juice. On the other hand this tastes like vitamin-C water. Bleh.

330ml bottle. Golden colour. Taste and aroma were sweet and yeasty. Hard to describe, this one was very strange tasting. If you have a gluten allergy this would be a decent choice.

bottle from voldby købmandsgård clear yellow, small thin white head. herbal, slightly buttery aroma flavor is flowery, yellow fruity spicy. slightly yeasty. so weird i would have guessed it belgian if i didn’t know. In general, gluten free beer sucks, this one only slightly.

Test vom 22.11.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,7,11,7 - 7,55

Clear golden colour, white head with rather large bubbles, mostly diminishing. On the positive side: this is a drinkable brew. I imagine it is important to have glutenfree drinks available which do not contain gluten and are drinkable, for the obvious target group that has an allergy for, or other reasons to stay away from beer that contains gluten. On the downside: I can’t think of any reason why one would regularly drink this beer if gluten are not a problem to you. The beer is cloying, bit too sweet, no noticable hops, watery, basically almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a fine german pilsner. (from 0,33L bottle)
