Oh so it’s gluten free? Is that the reason it’s odd and rubbish? Do I demand more gluten in my ale? It’s yellow gold, thin to no white head. Malty, mild gentleman’s sausage aroma (mine, on a bad day, after exercise, not had a shower yet). Grainy malty flavour with a hint of banana and herbs.

It’s hazy golden with a small, white head. The aroma is sweet and perfumed, and the sweet flavour is just as weird as the aroma, it must be the millet. It also has light notes of straw. The finish is sweet – truly a weird one...

Bottle. A light sour smell, yeast, some brimstone. The medium large white head is foamy, the body is pale yellow. It tasted also a little bit of brimstone, light sour, not really pleasing. The body is light, dry and lively.

Bottle. Sweet lemon juice and millet aroma. Slightly hazy yellow color with small head. Sweet lemon and light millet malt flavor. Medium body. Not really a traditional beer flavor but not bad.

Good, just yellowish head over well-carbonated, pale yellow beer. Vegetables and (vegetable) frying oil, old shoes, ... very un-beerlike aroma’s. Again frying oil in the flavour, watercolour paint, something vaguely perished... Sticky, oily MF; light and watery. Ugh! The Germans can’t brew glutenfree neither...

Bottle at Igor’s who is on a gluten-free diet. Golden body with big head. Nose of herbs and malts. Taste is a bit different sans malts, and quite a lemon flavour to it. It is okay and I guess not-bad if you’re on a diet that cuts out all other flavours too, but not my thing.

Very clear golden yellow with a frothy white head. Citrus, honey and malt aroma. Slight hint of of herb in the flavour. Seems a refreshing beer in summer weather. Tangy with a thin texture. Im not sure whats its trying to be. Very much like a weissbier. Not bad for a gluten free beer.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sweet perfume, flowers - apple flowers - apple. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

Tasting from Mar’ 2010.
Pours a hazy (chill or millet!?) sandy yellow gold. Head rises, falls back to a sudsy mess that leaves a fine lace. A lot of ripe banana, lemon candy and pear on the nose. Has a dull wheat character coming through too. Tastes exactly like the aroma, sweet throughout, fruity and grainy (Spalt?). Spritzy, light mouthfeel, long aftertaste of fruit and grain, sour and tangy, quite drawing on the saliva glands. Mild peppery lick of hops. Gets cloying as it warms so it’s definitely one to be served near frozen. Comes off much like a strange interpretation of a wheat beer, and as far GF beers go it’s certainly one of the best - which is not to say much - so high points there! (33cL, BB 10/09/10, Dan Murphy’s)
