bottle, with many thanks to pivnizub! Clear pale yellow colour, mid-sized white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, fresh, green and resiny. Elegant malt flavours complimented by lots of resiny-grassy hops. Not too bitter, but highly aromatic. A delicious example of the style.

pivnizub (8591) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - AUG 17, 2011
Bottle: Pale greenish-golden, mid-sized white fluffy head; moderate to solid spicy aromatic-hoppy nose, underpinned by some sweet pale malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft and creamy MF; lingering aromatic-hoppy finish, balanced by some pale malt. Quality seems to have really improved........

Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, grassy nose. Moderate malty, grassy hoppy and barnyard taste with strong bitter finish and aftertaste. Nothing special here.

Tap at the Brauerei Ausschank in Traunstein Pale green, ok head. Weak aroma. Light foundation with aromatic grassy hops on top. Could use more power.

(Bottled) Very pale yellow color with small head. Quite hoppy but slightly thin, sweetish aroma. Pretty hoppy, honeyish and sweetish flavor. Medium-bodied, sweetish palate. A very decent, sweetish pilsener.
