(6/30/08) Bottle bought at the Schnupp brewery warehouse at Altdrossenfeld and shared with rickgordon, chris o and Ruth in the closed Schnupp biergarten. Clear deep golden with a medium white head. Aroma is quite malty with bread and caramel. Sweetish bready flavor with caramel and some toastiness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

From bottle at the brewery, it was closed but we got our share. Clear golden colour with low head. Bisquity malty aroma and very clean. Not as lively as I know the Märzens but very malty with soft mouthfeel. Very solid!

Bottle at Quinns, Camden. Clear gold colour with no head - looked a bit lifeless. Touch of bready malt in the aroma. Stringer bready malt on the palate, with some light grassy hops. Not a world beater but I thought this was the best of the 3 Schnupp beers I tried at the same sitting. Others seem to disagree.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is a maltbomb along with some slight hoppy notes. Flavour is malts, a lot of quite salted, but fruity hops. Finish and aftertaste is just mainly hops. A bit disappointing.
