2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 BlackHaddock (2365) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2012
From Jan 2007 (on BA): 500ml brown bottle purchased in Berlin, drank in the UK.
Poured into one of my Franziskaner Weissbier glasses, it looked moody, cloudy and merky, with an off white thick head, just like a dark wheat beer should look like.
If you can get past the bannana aroma which is almost overpowering at first, you get vanilla and othet fruits coming through, in my opinion this beers best asset.
Standard Dunkel Weizen taste of wheat and bannana/vanilla flavours.
No mouthfeel to write about, not watery, not thick, just a normal type of consistancy for me.
A bog standard Dunkel Weizen.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Gutes massenkompatibles Dunkles!
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rodriguez (155) - Quito, ECUADOR - JAN 18, 2012
Hazy brown, a little yeast taste, kind of light flavor some malt is missing, an easy drink, but not to have another one again.
