Very pink grapefruit color. Smell also very grapefruit like with skin, peel, seeds and all. Taste is very sweet and sugary. The flavor is all grapefruit. It’s refreshing but a little too sweet. If it were more tart I think we would be on to something.

Taste like grapefruit. A very good summer drink. Fruity beer that my wife enjoyed who doesn’t normally drink beer.

seymour (1654) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - JUL 2, 2015
Poured from a 12oz clear glass bottle into a footed pilsener glass, hazy pinkish orange with spritzy, long-lasting white foam. Tasted exactly like you’d expect from a 50% hefeweizen/50% grapefruit juice blend. Much more like a freshly-squeezed shandy than competitors I’ve tasted, no artificial chemical aftertaste as all. Better than Stiegl Radler. Grainy, sweet and citrusy, hint of black pepper yeast phenol, subtle chalky mouthfeel, surprisingly dry finish. Light body, highly carbonated, very tasty and refreshing.

Nice refreshing with solid grapefruit flavor. Perfect summer drink. Really fruity, not a poser like some shandy's.

(tap) hazy yellow colour with a small beige head; aroma of grapefruit; flavour of grapefruit juice; beer this is not, rather a grapefruit drink with a hint of alcohol

Bottle 0,33ltr at Biermuseum, Cologne take some zips from my girlfriend: Orange colored brew with an very nice sharp grapefruit taste, marvellous grapefruit-radler.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of grapefruit rind and malt. Orange gold with white head. Tangy grapefruit and sweet malt work well. Also tasting dry wheat, yeast and a bit of spice. Kinda reminds me of a mimosa. One of the better radlers I’ve tried. P.S. I just looked up ’cochineal’ - interesting.

the facts are this, this is not a manly beer, but it is very refreshing and can be drank in volume and not be hammered. It has a nice fruit soda color is heavily carbonated and it is a very refreshing drink on a hot day. I wonder what this would taste spiked with other booze?

pours almost cloudy very light golden with a small creamy white head, good retention and lacing. pink grapefruit and pink peppercorns, fresh berries, some juicy peaches, shy malt and wheat character - lean honeyed malt sugars, grassy-herbal blandness, clean yeast. light carboantion, light body - oily; semi-sweet and fruity-herbal finish. pretty decent radler - just wished it were dryer.

I’m usually a huge fan of radlers, but this one just didn’t do it for me. Sweet-tasting mix of hefeweizen and grapefruit soda. Was a little more bitter, a little too carbonated, and just wasn’t as refreshing as I like a radler to be.

Cannette LCBO. Couleur jaune -orangée, Arôme de pamplemousse un peu bonbon. En bouche. Très légère. Pamplemousse. Correct.
