Schofferhofer Grapefruit is the unique combination of sparkling smooth Schofferhofer Hefeweizen with grapefruit flavoring. A refreshing well-rounded taste with tangy character and hints of sweetness is pleasing to the palate. Tastes best ice cold and right from the bottle. 50% of Schofferhofer Unfiltered Hefeweizen blended with 50% grapefruit drink.

Very pink grapefruit color. Smell also very grapefruit like with skin, peel, seeds and all. Taste is very sweet and sugary. The flavor is all grapefruit. It’s refreshing but a little too sweet. If it were more tart I think we would be on to something.

Hazy like the hefeweizen. Nice tangy fresh squeezed grapefruit flavor. Light bodied, silky mouthfeel, well carbonated. Very refreshing on a hot day.

Draft to taster at Flip Daddy’s pour hazy yellow with orange hue and thin white head. Nose light wheat, grapefruit. Taste big grapefruit juice, sweet orange juice, and light wheat. Too sweet for me. Is this Fresca?

Appearance: opaque orange-tinted deep gold with a short white head, poor retention and no lacing. (3/5) Aroma: sweet grapefruit “drink”, orange, wheat. (6/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, moderate tart, low bitter. (6/10) Medium-light body, fizzy carbonation, sticky short duration tart finish. (3/5) Sweet and mass-market-ish - but darn it if I don’t like it! At least, I like one, with lunch. Dunno how many more I could suffer through, since even towards the end of the first one the sweetness is getting overwhelmingly sticky, despite the fizzy carbonation. (12/20)

Cloudy yellow-orange with a lovely white meringue of head. Actually looks beautiful. The aroma is bitter grapefruit, which starts out bitter and juicy, but ends sugary-sweet. The flavor is grapefruit with like a pound of sugar added. It’s not unpleasant, but it seems very synthetic. A slick feel. It’s way too sweet to have more than one of these. I can feel the heartburn.

Pours cloudy orange with aggressive white head. Aromas of grapefruit and wheat, slight yeast. Fine carbonation, not very much but good mouth feel for the abv. Taste is massively fruity. Mainly orange with grapefruit hints. Finish is grapefruit but not bitter. Amazing session beer, so easy to drink

From a can. Pours a reddish gold, with a white frothy head. Nose of ripe sweet grapefruit - quite tropical in fact. Palate is soft and sweet (too sweet for my taste), with very little bitterness. Sticky rather than refreshing, and quite gassy. Meh.

Anaranjada algo turbia, con sedimentos. Aroma cítrico, naranja predominante. Sabor agradable, entre dulce y cítrico, bastante cítrico, con punto amargo. Bien de gas. Muy refrescante.

Can. Hazy orange/pink body with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit and blood orange. Flavour of pink grapefruit and white sugar. Thin body with a light texture. Soft fizz. Very easy to drink and not overly sour.
