Schofferhofer Grapefruit is the unique combination of sparkling smooth Schofferhofer Hefeweizen with grapefruit flavoring. The sweet grapefruit flavors over power everything, making it hard to tell if you are drinking beer, or fruit juice. For me, it is too sweet, and not that interesting due to the fact that all you can taste is that one flavor.

Cloudy orange color. Fruity aroma, sweet flavor of flu medicine or candies, and barely any bitterness. Very artificial.

Pours golden color, with a pinkish tinge and a thin 3-finger white head. It basically looks like a glass of grapefruit juice with a head on it.. Aroma matches: primarily grapefruit juice, with a grassy note under it and perhaps some black pepper too. Body is light and mildly oily, with a light fizziness. Flavor is of grapefruit juice, but significantly lighter. There is a mild grassy note underneath, as well as a touch of black pepper. Odd, but found it quite refreshing on a hot summer evening.

From can had to put to nose to smell it and got grapfruit juice and somehow a slight lager smell. In glass from a distance I can smell the grapfruit, but glass to nose same as can. 2 finger head stays a brief moment gone. Cloudy unfiltered orage/grapefruit look. Taste is grapefruit juice, a tad water(sometimes a tad sugar)maybe a tad somehow lager taste b4 I swallow and then all grapefruit juice. Hint of what beer sneeks in moment later. 3rd grapefruit raddler ever. Good but not great.

9/3/14. 12oz bottle thanks to PorterPounder. A neon orange beer in a clear bottle - what could possibly go wrong? Neon orange pour, cloudy, under a decent off-white/orange head that sizzles away to nothing. Really nothing offensive on the aroma, surprisingly. Mainly it just smells like sweet grapefruit soda - a bit like Squirt or something. The flavor also just tastes like soda but there’s a creamy doughiness if you really search for it. This really isn’t awful if you’re looking for a grapefruit soda, I guess. I probably won’t finish, not because it’s awful, but because a 2.5% soda isn’t worth the calories or time time wasted when I could be boosting with higher boost juice.

Opaque orange, medium white head. Really nice grapefruit on the nose, with hints of that authentic bitterness the actual fruit has. Sweet with distinct but not obnoxious grapefruit, nice bitter-sweet finish that leaves a real juice after. For what it is - spiffing.

This really smells quite strongly of grapefruit, and the color is pinkish. This has a strong grapefruit flavor that isn’t sticky sweet at all, making this really one of my favorite fruit beers/radlers.

.33L clear bottle with a BB date of 9/2015. Unusual appearance, but does look like a hefeweizen with grapefruit juice. The smell is largely citrus rind and grapefruit juice, but there’s a nice mix of hefeweizen with grapefruit juice in the flavor. Refreshing and lightly sweet.

Not a world class beer by any standard, but enjoyable tart and sweet, and DEFINITELTY has it’s place during the hot summer months. Cold and refreshing.

Draft. Pours peach gold white head. Nose and taste of low fizz grapefruit soda and wheat. Light body.

Tap. Super opaque orange-pink. Predictably full body as a result. Strong nose of grapefruit. Strong everything of grapefruit in general. Very refreshing, especially on a hot day, but tastes more like thick grapefruit pop?
