bottle. Golden cloudy yellow with lasting fluffy head and lace. Aromas is classic bright and fairly fresh surprising from a Brooklyn bodega. citrus, fresh white bread, clove, light not ripe bananas. flavors of these on a lightly tangy and sweet not bitter base. Average light mouthfeel with soft but lively feel and a little astringency. Surprisingly nice for a hefe on this side of the pond.

Draft in Mainz. Hazy yellow/orange with a thick creamy head. Aroma of typical banana clove hef yeast with some fruity wheat and citrus. Flavor is spicy yeast esters, some bready malt sweetness and honey. Medium to light body. Solid hef, refreshing.

Aroma: Light citrus, bread and clove, very weak sweet fruits.
Appearance: Cloudy golden straw, thin creamy head.
Taste: Light sourness, light bitterness. Heavy wheat flavour with subtle citrus.
Palate: Medium body, with a creamy bubbly texture, average carbonation with a lingering citrus finish.
Overall: A very drinkable hefeweizen, lighter on the sweet fruits with a stronger than normal citrus flavour.

Bottle from Oddbins. Colour is bright hazy amber, touch of orange colour, big foam white head. Nose is subtle, orange, banana ester, light clove. Taste is also fairly subtle, but it has quite an orange tang to it, sharp little orange citrous bite. Nicely developing flavour on the palate.

Orange nutes in taste, hoppy palate with long bitter finish. White, medium thick foam stays for two and half minutes. Honey colour. Not a bad choice.

Drank at friends, no glasses apparently, so I drank from the bottle. Slight banana and wheat aroma, taste is slightly bitter, dry, decent.

On draft at the Brass Tap poured a cloudy pale yellow color with aromas of clove, wheat, banana, light smoke (could be the line), and some light citrus. Flavors follow suit, little smokiness in the aftertaste, not tue best beer I have had in this style but ok.

Bouteille 500ml. De couleur dorée foncée et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (bananes très mûres, moyen d’agrumes) légèrement épicées (clou de girofle), moyen de blé avec des notes de miel et de houblon herbeux. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-élevé ainsi qu’une texture aux petites notes crémeuses. Goût de levures fruitées légèrement acides (agrumes, notes de bananes) et légèrement épicées (clou de girofle, traces de poivre et de cannelle) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût d’un léger goût de gomme balloune et de blé avec des notes de grains de malt puis en finale l’on retrouve des notes de houblon herbeux. Post-goût court-moyen, composé d’un goût légèrement acide de blé et de levures fruitées (zeste d’agrumes, notes de pelures de bananes) avec des notes poivrées et des traces de houblon herbeux. (2006)
