Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

A very cloudy overripe banana color pouring with a sticky, foamy white head. Aroma of ripe wheat and basement. Flavor is mild wheat with a very perky, strong bite. The finish has a little bit of sweetness. Its a good drinkable beer.

0,5L bottle. Pours hazy gold with nice white head. The head stays. Aroma is classical hefeweizen aroma: banana, spices, fruits etc. Taste is sweet, light fruits, wheat, and tart. Overall: everything about this beer is just very typical for the style. So it’s a good beer, but not really special.

Bread, grain, banana, and minerals in the aroma. Faintly bitter taste of earthy hops and cereal. It pours a cloudy amber with a big, off-white head. Rather vigorous carbonation.

Uklar gylden, stabilt hvidt skum. Aroma: banan, humle, gær. Ditto smag suppleret med malt. Ok eftersmag med en smule syre.

Great orangey-gold colour, hazy with dense white head. Aromas are bananas, orange, lemon, wheat. Citrus is stronger in the mouth than the nose, but flavour is generally unchanged. Some sweet fruit and caramel sweetness on top of the bitterness. Rather dry. Medium body. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with abundant, stable white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast, and banana, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with touches of yeast, notes of raw malt and sweetish, fruity hints. Mildly bitter finish. High carbonation. A reasonable Hefeweizen.
