COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Botella de 50 cl. En casa 21-12-13. Cuerpo ligero de color amarillo tostado turbio. Aromas a malta y cereal seguido de cítrico. Sabores maltosos y cereal con toques cítricos y final bastante ligero. Normal en el mundo alemán.

Solid hefeweizen. Hints of banana & spices, with more lager bitterness than some of this style. Possibly biased as I had a great Weihenstephaner hef before this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours murky golden with medium white head. Aroma of wheat, honey, coriander, spices. Taste is light honey sweet followed by a slightly peppery finish. Light body, almost too light, and soft carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Hazy orange with tall, long lasting off-white head. I like the aroma - fresh, sweet, citrusy and spicy. Taste is pretty much the same - bananas, citrus fruits, cloves. Bit hoppy. I like this one.

It pours dark orange with quite nice white head that lasts. It has average carbonation with very appealing scent that reminds fruit. Initial taste is amazing, so refreshing and smooth, however after taste is terrible. It starts to drink like a smooth lager but ends with IPA taste.

Fint grumligt guldig. Fin arom av jäst och viss sötma, kanske lite skumbananer på det.

Bottle in Frankfurt airport. Beautiful orange gold and quite clear for the style. Light nose of cloves and lightly perfumy hops. Some lemon rind tartness on back sides of the tongue. Less bodied than the other two I have tried here, with less spice and fruit.
