3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
When I poured it my expectations just went up since it has a vivid carbonation, unfiltered yellow and small but persisting head. But the aroma and flavour are just not very consistent with this.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of wheat, yeast and slightly earthy. Pours cloudy orange liquid with a smooth, soapy head. Sour and sweet taste, mainly yeast flavour with a citrus note. Light body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Sour, citrussy finish. Overall a nice, smooth German Hefeweizen with a good mouthfeel, but a little too citrussy for my taste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice classical german hefeweizen. Banana and cloves aroma, similar notes in taste. Both aroma and taste might have been more intensive in my opinion, but still, solid and good beer.

0.33L pour from refrigerated tap into Schoefferhofer wheat glass. Huge fluffy white head, good carbonation, deep golden color, hazy. Slightly crisp with a citrus bite on the end. Strong wheaty taste and a little spice. Nose has lots of citrus.

Parkhotel, Helmstedt. Typical for its genre, a bit too much carbonation and strong banana aroma.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.5l bottle. Aroma is quite average, maybe a bit sweeter. Has a thick foamy yellowish head. Orange liquid, not transparent.
Tastes quite good although I don’t reckon really much wheat. Low carbonation and nice, full body. I like it.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Naturtrüb has a thick, creamy, off-white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, golden appearance, which clouds up, once the caked gunk at the bottom of the bottle is swished and poured in. Lacing is not so high. Aroma is of mild banana and coriander notes, and the main aroma is just mainline beer smell. Taste is the same thing, with minimal bitterness. Mouthfeel is on the full side, and Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Naturtrüb finishes easy drinking and refreshing, though not particularly clean. RJT

500ml bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a big yellowy head. Wheat and banana aroma. Taste is watery banana, wheat, some cloves. Better than average hefe, but nothing I would bother buying again.
