COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and pour slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Cloudy orange with big white head. Aroma classic for hefe-weizen : wheat , citrus , banana. Taste is same. Decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I always think of this beer as the perfect introduction for someone who is about to look past he mass produced rubish on the market. Pours a beautiful orage colour with a very citric aroma. Tangy finish which tickles the taste buds. This beer comes with a guarantee to convert your friends to look at Beer outside of the local "run of the mill" brew they usually drink.

Excellent wheat beer, not as citrus flavoured as I might have liked but overall pretty good

Pours opaque deep gold with copper core and thin white head. The aroma is sweet malts, a pulse of grain then moving into bubble and banana. Solid aroma with smooth blended notes. The taste is also smooth but brings in a refreshing sensation. I get a pulse of crisp floral hops moving into malt graininess. By midway bubble gum and modest notes of banana come to the surface. Yum. Well executed hefe.

Bottle 500ml. Very nice. Aromas of grass, citrus, and dough. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness. Palate is oily, almost creamy. Amber, with a frothy head.
