75 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear amber color with lots of sediment and a small head. Aroma is quite appealing with exotic fruits, floral hops, mild caramel and some rose hip. Flavor of fruits, hops, mild nutty malts, some hay and some yeast notes on the finish. Almost creamy and a bit viscotic palate. More like a DIPA. Very nice.

75 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 27.09.2015
Aroma has exotic fruits and some caramel. Flavour is also fruity with lots of resin, some gooseberry bush, caramel and biscuits. More like DIPA than IPA. Hoppy and nice!

750 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A.
Pours a hazy amber golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of strong floral hops, pineapple, grass and pine needles. Flavour of strong, high bitter floral hops, mild caramel, grapefruit, caramel and pine needles. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and rich, strong bitter finish with tangy grapefruit notes. Nice one.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Orange-brownish colour, large off-white head. Fruity hop aroma. Full-bodied, malty base with lots of aromatic hops with a lovely citrusy character and a touch of tropical fruit and resin. Very nice.

mile (3830) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 26, 2012
Bottle. Dark golden, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel with some fruitiness, some grapefruit hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel and some tropical fruitiness, some grapefruit - piney hoppyness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, caramel, some fruitiness with some grapefruit - piney hoppyness, light alcohol. Too sweet/too much caramel - nothing special.

Idiosynkrasie (6530) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2012
330ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly muggy caramel malty aroma, hints of almond, tannic hoppy overtones. Taste is dry, bitter hoppy, minimally citric, notes of tannic, underdeveloped malt basis has fruity notes resembling peach and lemon ice tea. Somewhat aside in every aspect (id est hops and malt).

Kristall-König (2726) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2012
Hopfenwürziger und eher verhalten zitrusartiger Geruch. Startet süßlich-bitter. Noch bitterer in der Mitte, würzig, Grapefruit. Bittertrocken im Abschluss. Streng, aber gut.

bartlebier (3496) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - OCT 16, 2012
33cl. bottle from BierZwerg of the Month Oct. sampler. - Very convincing, almost West Coast-style sweetish&fruity German (Bavarian) IPA. One-dimensional and light-medium bodied, bordering on soapy, but pleasantly drinkable and very tasty. Hard to believe this should carry 8,2 ABV. One of many, but certainly the most palpable and innovative (by conservative German standards) surprises coming out of the Schönram sampler box. Now lose the preposterous/boisterous "Bavarias Best" label as well as the outrageous 75cl bottle prices (€14,99 and up, glad I got the sampler!) and you have yourself a recipe for, if not world, then certainly Germany-wide craft beer domination (or at least qualification among the more diverse and innovative "old-world" brewers) that can compete with more level-headed DK, NL and BE trendsetters.
