2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, and a bit of straw, leading to a bitter finish. Boring - not much of an IPA.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours amber with a slight haze and a dense off-white head. Very fresh citrusy hops in the nose - clearly C-hops. Solid body, fruit and caramel with these fresh aroma hops again leaving a solid bitterness. Very well made. 160411

Bottle from Birratrovo, bb 19.12.16
Hazy amber color with medium sized head, short retention. Mild aroma, some cereals, maybe sweet, light honey and light hops. Lean body; cereals flavor with light residual sweetness; strong bitterness, very light fruity presence, mild resins and not much more hop qualities.
Unimpressive, maybe not fresh enough?

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
8th September 2013
Thanks to Keen Massey for this one. Almost clear amber beer with a small white head. Palate is slightly soft and a little dry. Creamy malt with a little toffee and twigs! Dried fruits. Little noble hop bitterness. Finishes dry with a mild bitter linger. Pretty malt led, never an IPA!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, 75cl corked, courtesy of fonefan. A nice looking beer, slightly unclear, golden to amber in color and with a two-finger, creamy off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is sure from the American side of the Atlantic ocean, lots of citrus and tropical fruits, some sugary malts. The flavor has sugary malts in the back, with tropical fruits and citrus up front. Could use more bitterness though. Full-bodied, slightly warming and with a nice carbonation. Lasting bitter and citrusy finish. A really nice one, proving that also Germans can do foreign styles. 110416
