Bottle 50cl from Kevnic2008. A clear amber brown beer with good head. Nose is on caramel, grain, toffee. Aroma is on sweet malt, brown bread, cereals, dry grapes, creamy body, nice light sour / dry grape touch that goes well with the sugar, light chocolate, excellent and well balanced dunkel.

Bottle at California Brew fest. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Flavor is med dark fruit with a smooth roast malt backdrop. Finishes not too malty with some fruit. Nice.

50cl bottle pours with a clear amber brown head supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up some roasted malts, nuttiness and a mild mineral water sort of smell. The taste starts with a mix of malts sweetened roasted malts, a dash of chocolate malts and a sort of spicy molasses like sensation. Toward midway a mix of nuttiness and cherry to prune sweet dark fruity esters come to the surface and take it into the finish.

50cl bottle. Poured dark brown with a dirty white head. Bread, toast, sweetish aroma. Flavor has toast, bread, caramel. Finish is more dry than sweet and with caramel lingering. Thinnish but very tasty.

(bottle) pours a clear ruby colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of raisins, treacle and roasted malts, light dark fruit, tobacco, grass and brown sugar. flavour is mostly roasted malts, grass and vanilla, with a hint of raisin bread and earth. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

50cl bottle from Liebick Getränke in Germering. Pours a clear, deep brown colored body with a nice ruby hue. Inch thick, creamy and foamy, tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, nutty and bready caramels with some dark fruits, touches of toast, a very light chocolate, and some grains. Flavor is similar. Nutty, bready caramels with a medium sweetness, a light chocolate, some grainy toast with a hint of roast, a few dark fruits, and a light hop bitterness. Finishes clean and fairly dry with a light sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a nice beer. Clean, easy drinking, and flavorful. Good one.

Bottle. Caramel, breadcrust and some coffee in the aroma. More coffee and breadcrust in the flavour. Light body, light sweet taste. Fast drinker without an excessive amount of caramel flavour. That’s the way I like it.

500ml bottle. Nice clear mahagony colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Spicy dark and caramel malty aroma. Taste is minimally sweet malty with a nuttily touch and dry grainy overtones; dry finish on the edge to soapy.

Pours dark ruby red with creamy off-white head. Smells malty-roasty and nutty. Starts sweetish malty with some roasty notes. Middle part is malty-bready, slight bitter, caramelly and nutty. Goes into a bitter finish with lots of bread and caramel.
