3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled at GBBF 2004. This was listed as an Austrian beer, but turns out to be German. Nice rich nut brown colour. I know what Duff means by the "dog biscuit" aroma - dominated by cereally malt. Better on the palate, some roasted malt and a touch of yeasty acidity to set that off. OK, but not inspiring.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Some dry dog food in the aroma, which put me of a little bit. Otherwise, nicely herbal and dry, bready/doughy flavour, a bit nutty too. Nice dry herbal finish, can’t complain.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
GBBF 2004 Bottled (I think didn’t write it down). A nutty brown coloured dunkel with a typical malty, nutty taste. Aroma is also sweet malt. An OK dunkel but nothing too special.
