50cl bottle from Liebick Getränke in Germering. Pours a clear, deep brown colored body with a nice ruby hue. Inch thick, creamy and foamy, tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, nutty and bready caramels with some dark fruits, touches of toast, a very light chocolate, and some grains. Flavor is similar. Nutty, bready caramels with a medium sweetness, a light chocolate, some grainy toast with a hint of roast, a few dark fruits, and a light hop bitterness. Finishes clean and fairly dry with a light sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a soft, moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a nice beer. Clean, easy drinking, and flavorful. Good one.

Bottle. Caramel, breadcrust and some coffee in the aroma. More coffee and breadcrust in the flavour. Light body, light sweet taste. Fast drinker without an excessive amount of caramel flavour. That’s the way I like it.

500ml bottle. Nice clear mahagony colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Spicy dark and caramel malty aroma. Taste is minimally sweet malty with a nuttily touch and dry grainy overtones; dry finish on the edge to soapy.

Pours dark ruby red with creamy off-white head. Smells malty-roasty and nutty. Starts sweetish malty with some roasty notes. Middle part is malty-bready, slight bitter, caramelly and nutty. Goes into a bitter finish with lots of bread and caramel.

50 cl bottle @ lusikka, BBE 25.03.2013
Quite malty and sweet aroma with some roasted notes and toffee. Flavour is quite malty with toffee and berries. Finishes somewhat dry with wood, roasty notes and hints of coffee. Nice, but too much berries.

Pours a dark brown colour with a small white head. Aroma is very sweet with syrup, bread and some raisins. Flavour of grassy hops, bread, raisins, syrup and some nuttiness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a sweet, mellow, malty finish. Great stuff.

Bottled 50cl. Icelandic moss, earthy hops, chocolate and boiled vegetables showing up in the nose. Quite "würzig". Good bitterness. Medium bodied. I didn’t enjoy this beer all that much.

It’s dark amber with a wine red twist and a creamy white head. The aroma has notes of nuts, dark syrup, caramel and roasted malt. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of dark syrup, nuts, roasted malt, caramel and the finish is roasted with hints of coffee. It’s exceptionally nice, probably the best dunkel I have had!
