Bevuta al birrifugio alla spina, mi sa tanto che non era uscita bene perchè in aroma spiccava qualche puzzetta di troppo.

Appearance was clear pale gold with creamy lasting white 2 finger head, lacing throughout. Aromas where caramel, biscuity, sweet barkley malts. The floral, citrus, piney, herbal spicey hops are present but not overpowering. Taste where sweet upfront then gives way to lemony, grassy, slightly bitter herbal spicey hops, yeasts add some floral notes. Palate was crisp light carbonation with light-medium body. The average length caulky finish. The caulkyness ruined for me, what is a good Pils...

It’s golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw and flower. The flavor has notes of malt, straw, flower and bread - it’s very well balanced and nice!

The aroma is rather hoppy for the style (too bad I dont like them) but does have a pils quality to it. It’s a bit dusty and the hops are grassy and resin like with some herbs. The malts are corn like. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall a pretty average beer.

My Bottom Line :
Cracking straw and delicate spicy hops whip up a smashing dry, effervescent Pilsener.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-A sticky head of foam garnishes the clear pale golden.
-The flavor profile and mouthfeel are as polished as both other Schönram brews I’ve had at this point.
-Malts offer some bread connotations as well in their light sugary flavors.
-This may not be the most distinctive example, but it is impeccable and completely enjoyable.
-The spicy hop finish lingers nicely without overdoing it. Makes the brew even more süffig!
-This must be absolutely amazing fresh on tap at the brewery.

Bottle.

Herber, eher dunkler Beginn mit geringen Hopfennoten. Trocken herb, süßlich werdend. Zum Ende nochmal getreidig. In Ordnung. 12/10/9/7//8

Very surprised to see this Pilsner (and its Dunkel sister) on tap in the Greenwich Union: the Meantime Brewery tap house: Oct 2011. Reason being, I’d never heard of the brewery before. Had a half pint just to review it on here. This is one of the better Pilsner beers I’ve had and was certainly an improvement on the London Lager and Helles that Meantime had up against it on tap in their bar. This oozed classic Pilsner: the colour, smell, body and overall feel of it just seemed right. Served well and at a good chilled temp it slipped down far too well. I’ll not go into great detail (I only had a half don’t forget and I was on a mission to try a few brews that day), but this is well worth finding and trying if you get the chance.
