Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a small white head. Lovely hoppyness with pinecones and some citrus peel. Some maltyness in the back. Pleasant hoppyness in the flavor, both citrus and pine cones, some grass too. Not much maltyness, but some in the back. Medium body. The finish is too short, but a nice beer it is, drinking easily. 110318

Pours into my glass a super pale yellow, super super pale, with a puffy white head that leaves a ton of lacing. The smell is maltier than most pilseners, with strong pale malt and a kiss of slightly medicinal/herbal hops. The immediate thing I notice in this beer is a great mouthfeel. The taste is suprisngly citrusy with the focus being lemon. There is slight bitterness in the aftertaste. This is an extremely smooth and quaffable German pilsener. This is a surprisingly solid German pilsener, it took me awhile to come across it, but I think I’m somewhat glad I did. It isn’t the best, but it is a solid, solid German style pilsener. (bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Mildly sweet malty aroma with a good dash of herbal and resiny hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Soft pale malty base with profound German hops from the beginning; quite dry, mildly sweet and hop bitter finish with herbal and resiny accents. A quaffable Pilsener. 01.XII.10

Bottle (from Jonas!): Pale greenish golden, a bit unclear, quite stable mid-sized bleached head; moderate to solid aromatic herbal-hoppy nose, backed by a good dash of sweet pale malt; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; pronounced aromatic hoppiness in the lingering bitter-sweet finish. Gorgeous Pils, lightyears away from the usual german Veltins, Bitburger and Radeberger swill.....

Aroma sweet malty front , hint of salt with light dryness of hop.
Appearance good depth of gold with neat bright white top. Good traditional Pils appearance. 4-
Flavor and Palate : Good golden malts show up front. Fairly soft for German Pils more Bohemian in style. Very nice clean malt expose with good hop profile. Very refreshing. One of better ones I had from Germany.

Keg at the Old Brewery, Greenwich. Clean, crisp, nicely brewed - good balance of biscuit malt and lager hops. Does what it does quite well. An OK drink.
