2010-10-02. Crisp pale yellow, modest foamy white head. Flavour is surprisingly bitter with a crisp dry grassy bitterness over muted pale malt base. Modest aroma, grassy hints and muted floral hops. 6+ Smooth average palate suits it. Pretty decent! Bottle shared by Radek

right from the bottle it is easily one of the best pilseners i have ever enjoyed. simply made according to the German purity law yet, as complex as one could imagine. fruity, spicy, mellow, tart, tangy and with zippy carbonation i ask, what’s not to like! no characteristic is overbearing and the body is moderate and in a word satisfying. bottle reads %5.4 ABV. peppry finish.

33cl Bottle, bought in Rome. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of bready and pale malts, grassy and light spicy hops. Flavour is light bready, malty, hoppy finish with a grassy aftertaste. Good bitterness, just a bit overcarbonated. Light bodied.

12 oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow gold with a small white hea that has fair retention and some lacing. The aroma is mild with corn, cereal grains and some biscuit. The flavor has a respectable hop bite, but is otherwise undistinguished with cereal grains. The palate is light and uneven with prickly carbonation. The finish is short and forgettable. Overall: Not impressed, better than BMC but not by much.

Pours pale yellow with a small, white head. Aroma of oats, crackers, and grains. Only a touch of aromatic noble hops. The flavor is very dry with oats, crackers and dry, bitter hops. Kind of thin but full flavored. A little spicy. There’s something special about a good German pilsner. This definitely qualifies.

Very pale golden pour with a sticky white head. Nose is light and fairly spicy. A kiss of straw/grassy malts and a light herbal nose. The hoppiness is quite light. A little bit minerally with a bit of herbal spiciness on the nose. Lots of clean, crackery malts. Very, very dry with a lingering light minerally dryness. More crisp pils malt and very clean bitterness. I really like this one.

Bottle: Pale clear yellow gold with a dense white film. Clean, biscuity pils aroma with a crackery fresh dryness and a grassy herbal noble hop note. Very nice. Crisp quenching feel with a firm pils malt presence in the flavor- Crackery, dry and lean pils presence with a great flowery/peppery noble hop bitterness on the back making it dangerously drinkable. An awesome German pils that I can drink all day. Very underrated.

pale straw, fizzy dissipating white head. clean, crisp, bright aroma, mild hops. flavor is a bit muddled, not as crisp and refreshing as it should be, though extremely dry finish. light all around, and kinda bland. lemony and grainy flavor. i dont know, this isn’t good.

(bottle) pours a very pale yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of subdued floral hops with hints of straw and pale malts. flavour is nicely on the hoppy side of things, with light malts and a light bitter finish. light body with medium carbonation.
