ale yellow cloudy body, thick head. Aroma grass, hay, grassy hops. Palate is mouthful, crispy, carbonation lively. Taste is grassy , herbal, hoppy and straightforward. Finish is dry , bitter and hoppy in style of Northern German pils. Honest and simple Pilsener, good full-bodied texture and clean with hints of Handwerk in there. Good stuff.

Bottle @ home. Pours clear yellow with a large white head, some lacing. Dry aroma of grains, hay and some toast. metallic notes, grass, hints of citrus and sweet cookies. Grainy taste, dry with some malt sweetness and medium carbonation. Lots of grass, hay, some white toast, hints of citrus which becomes more prominent in the finish along with a crisp metallic and spicy bitterness. A very good german pilsener, with just a bit too much sweetness but a fantastic bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours pale golden in color with a small and thick whitish head. Tart grassy notes in aroma, some old hay too. Some bitterness, but also notes of sweet malts, even breadyness in taste. Aroma was a bit off, but the taste here saved a lot. Dry finish.

Appearance: clear amber gold (dark for a pils), one finger of creamy white head, average lacing. Aroma: light crackery biscuit, with some corn, grass, hay, and light cardboard. Taste: slightly toasty, with lemongrass, light pepper, cracker, and some honey grahams. Finish: malty, slightly toasty, light mineral water, soggy grass. Notes: Maltier and slightly more toasty than the average pils. Not terrible, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it again.
