RaginCajun (267), Dallas, Texas, USA Oct 8, 2006 Slightly cloudy yellow body with a airy head. Yeasty and grainy aroma. Best part about this beer is the "warm" malt finish, it is a nice touch. Otherwise, it is a fine pilsener; a very nice pilsener indeed.
hellbilly (940), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jul 12, 2008 pours a not quite hazy yellow color with hints of brown. it’s topped by a soapy foam-like off white head. the aroma is straight sweetened canned corn mixed with some stale grains, lemon and spice. the palate is on the sweeter side.... flavors of cooked lemon skins, vegetal cooked grain, spice and grass with a dry grainy finish. medium body. huge bubbles actually make this harsh in the mouth. Headbanger (1012), Aurora, Illinois, USA May 29, 2008 16.9 oz bottle-A hazy golden body with a small white head and an aroma of citrus, grains, and hops. Taste is of malt, grains, hops, lemon, and a dryness on the back end. IMO not a bad tasting Pilz. IrishBoy (2209), Bakersfield, California, USA Apr 26, 2008 11.2 oz bottle from Country Club Liquors; Nose of grassy hops, with a lillte grainy sweetness; urine yellow with a small white head; flavor has some pepperiness, light hop bitterness, and a very light honey note. mmather (113), Colorado, USA Apr 18, 2008 from 500ml bottle. pours bright and clear straw color with a nice long lasting but thin head. Flavor profile is classic Bavarian Pils. Nice malt background with a great combination of hop aroma, flavor and bitterness to make it very refreshing. Very good. stoutlover72 (1342), NorCal, California, USA Mar 18, 2008 Nothing special at all about this beer. Perhaps fresh on tap would be a different story. The beer pours out a really light-yellow golden color with a quickly dissipating foamy cap. This looks like something outta a standard pale lager, not a pils. Aroma is lemony, slightly malty and some yeast. Mouthfeel is like liking a 9-volt battery. Flavor is more unwanted lemon flavor, slightly grassy, and aspirin. Not very refreshing.
