COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled 33cl. Clear pale yellow with a white head. (Surprisingly pale appearance). Honey, melon, spicy hops and cookie dough showing up in the nose which is deeply inviting. Good bitterness. Lovely malt back. Like drinking nectar.

bottle from pivni rozmanitost. golden with a modest head; full aroma of red stone fruit, wet rocks; restrained sticky sweetness, lightly grassy/weedy with a lightly tinny finish. hoping this will lead to more experimentation with hop use in bavarian bocks

Bottle:   Pale yellow, large foamy white head, nice lacing.   Strong stray/hay aroma.   Somewhat of a sweet grassy start, straw and hay.   Pretty clean, albeit there is a slight cereal or mealy aspect on the backside.   Sweet, but mealy.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes witih lots of cereal and mealy notes.   Not as clean as others, but feels hefty.   Tiz decent I guess, but despite it being clean I am not a big fan of the mealiness.

[Thanks to kevnic2008]. Bottle. Golden colour with a white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma has notes of alcohol, light hoppy and some sweet hints. Flavor is uncompensated, too much alcohol that hides all the rest of characteristics.

Flasche. - Helles Goldgelb, klar. Lt.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2014 Pours in pale light body slightly cloudy with nice white creamy long and dense head. Aroma is floral hops, hops, grass, and some slight fruity note but overall not very aromatic head. Palate is medium full- bodied, and slick, carbonation is soft, with little fizzy kick and mouthful. Taste is hoppy but not exactly bitter, although ABV is 8% it is really easy to drink, ABV hardly noticeable and the hops added bring very refreshing and enjoyable drinking experience, Finish has fruity hops flavors and some maltiness. Overall best Bock I have had so far, although due to aromahops does not taste as traditional German bocks.

Golden and clear with a medium, white, but not very stable head. Intensive smell of flowers, hops, elder flowers and herbs. At first sweetish taste, then more and more bitterness with a nice floral/herbal note. Full body sweet but bitter finish.

Bottle. It pours a very clear yellow color with a frothy white head. The aroma is surprisingly hop forward with light catty, earthy notes with some hay and round pilsner maltiness. The flavor is again strong with the saphir character. Somewhat noble, spicy with hints of lemon lime. Strong bitterness. The pale malt character is round and bready without being fat or doughy. Finishes on a spicy bitter note. Really nice hoppy bock. I loved it.
