anders37 (2819), Malmö, Sweden Aug 18, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Malty hoppy piney aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy piney and grapefruit flavor. Malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste. riversideAK (1755), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 7, 2008 Dark gold/amber colored beer with a nice oily looking head. The aroma is of toasted caramel malts and very woody/floral/piney/citrus hops. The flavor is a grimy pine/citrus bitterness with some caramel malt and some butter which detracted a little because I really liked the hops. Seemed a little grainy and gritty and a touch rough around the edges. I did like it because of the hops.
