Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Malty hoppy piney aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweetish malty hoppy piney and grapefruit flavor. Malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of citrus in the aftertaste.

Dark gold/amber colored beer with a nice oily looking head. The aroma is of toasted caramel malts and very woody/floral/piney/citrus hops. The flavor is a grimy pine/citrus bitterness with some caramel malt and some butter which detracted a little because I really liked the hops. Seemed a little grainy and gritty and a touch rough around the edges. I did like it because of the hops.

Ah yes, the "old style" IPA, where the brewers aren’t trying to outdo everyone else, say "My beer is bigger than your beer" Orange amber,small beige head.Clean citrus nose.Nice rich malt start with lasting citrus/bitter hop finish. Perfectly balanced A classic IPA, the way it should be

Cask version at WABL Fathers Day BrewFest 2008. Pours lightly hazy bright copper with a lacy white head. Tropical fruit, grapefruit and toffee nose. Sweet toffee and grapefruit taste. Nicely bitter resinous finish that seems to dragging a little butter residue along with it.

floral aroma, clear gold. dirty organic? hops dominate with a dirty earthy finish. honey underlying sweetness comes out most in the finish
