3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
There is something about this that I really enjoy. It is 3-Grid-ish which makes it tasty, but it also has a touch of pine bitterness and low hop aroma. Pours a reddish brown and has a light head, white in color. Low bitterness and full on flavor.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Excellent IPA, and another well crafted beer from Schooner Exact. However, little differentiation between this and 3 Grid.

Amber/orange in color, clear with a thin head. Nice hops aroma lots of pine. Good malt roast with a balance and a light bitterness in the finish. This is a great IPA.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap @ SE. Clear orange pour with a persistant short white head leaving heavy lace. Pine and toast nose. Medium body and carbonation. Toast, burnt caramel, resin and grapefruit. Balanced towards bitter, with little or no sweetness, umami or fruitiness. Long, bitter finish. Somewhat prefer the 3 Grid, but this is a fine PNW IPA.

Surprisingly little hops in the aroma. The flavor is good in this RED IPA. The hoppiness really comes through near the end.
