COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
King Street Brown is the answer for those wanting a slightly more malty experience. Made in classic Schooner EXACT fashion, the beer achieves the tricky balance of malty, but not too sweet; full of flavor but not too full on the stomach. Brewed with a blend of chocolate and special Belgian malts, this beer has a roasty, nutty flavor nuanced with hints of stone fruit and leaves you with a dry lingering finish.

Draught at Devil Craft. Clear brown - white head. Nutty. Roasted. Light bitterness. Some freshness. High nutty. Light sweetness. Ok.

Bottle... Poured deep brown with a moderate khaki head. Typical of style. Not bitter or crazy but just a nice nutty, toasted malt presence with a standard yeast presence for the style. Earthy, mildly dry, not too much for hops going on.

Poured from draft at their taproom. Clear lighter brown pour. Kinda watery. Decent but flavor with some malts. Average brown

Warm brown colour in draught. Sweet and nutty with a bit of pecan? in the aroma. Again, would make a good session beer if served in small enough glasses. Good for washing down spices.

Bomber. Pours dark brown with a smallish biege head. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, and nuts. Some bitterness at the finish. Decent Brown Ale.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a medium khaki head that diminishes slowly to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roasted nuts and a bit of hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle:   Deep brown, thin to moderate off-white head, little lacing.   Cocoa start, sweetened coffee, lots of creamer, seems a bit dry.   Maltly start, cocoa, sweet roasted malts, lots of sugar and cream in this one.   Not a hoppy example, but not overly malty either.   Decent balance, smooth, sweet, not overly roasted either.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with lots of cocoa, a bit nutty too.   Enjoyable!

Looks a little thin. The nose is dusty, nutty malt. In the mouth it is super smooth and light with some real nutty sweetness in the finish. Pretty good but not something I’ll pay to revisit.

Bomber from LetsPour.com. Pours dark brown with a slight creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate over some moderately roasted malt. Med body. Flavor is nutty and chocolaty with that standard "brown" malt flavor. It finishes dry and rather bitter.

pours a semi-cloudy copper-brown with a very small tan head that goes away quickly, and little to no lacing. smell is of molasses, wood, roasted malt, hazelnut, and chocolate. taste is a little oily, malt, some spice, a little cocoa, hazelnut, some roastiness, and a few hops. ends oily and somewhat spicey.
