3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a growler. Thin tan head with decent lacing. Sweet, but not too sweet. Very malty with good notes of chocolate. Body a little thin but overall a very solid brown.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Popped into Craft Beer Base for my free drink ticket & to enjoy a half pint of Schooner Exact King Street Brown Ale.
It pours a beautiful clear rich reddish brown. The nose is soft cocoa, candied raisins and nutty breadiness. A lively carbonation on a med-thin bodied clears the palate for flavors of nutty goodness with chewey chocolate raisin graham cookie notes.
A satisfying brown which is saying something as the style tends to be overly sweet in my opinion.

Medium brown color. Very malty nose with some nice nuttiness and chocolately character. The mouth is very malty, slighly tart with a lingering nuttty finish. Nice stuff.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa, milk chocolate, and toasted nuts. Flavour is smooth, with notes of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Toasty, nutty and chocolatey, with a dry palate. Very solid stuff - much more interesting than typical brown ales.

Draft pour at the church key pub. Pours a really dark brown with a nutty malty aroma. Smooth caramel malt flavor all throughout. A standard brown ale for me, I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear very dark brown color with a moderate tan head on there. Nose is a nice mix of nuttiness and toasting, and belies a very flavorful beer. Taste is a bit sweet, with some nice toasting and some subtle caramel and nutty notes. Really interesting.

Wow, absolutely splendid. Most brown ales seem to be too hoppy or thin. This is not on either count. Strong malt flavors, which I like. Strong brown ale flavor, which I like even more. Amazed they packed this much flavor in this low of an ABV. Good, good, good!

Bottle... Poured deep brown with a moderate khaki head. Typical of style. Not bitter or crazy but just a nice nutty, toasted malt presence with a standard yeast presence for the style. Earthy, mildly dry, not too much for hops going on.

Poured from draft at their taproom. Clear lighter brown pour. Kinda watery. Decent but flavor with some malts. Average brown
