Draft. Pours a clear brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty nutty caramel flavor with some weak smoke hints. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate finish.

Bomber from LetsPour.com. Pours dark brown with a slight creamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate over some moderately roasted malt. Med body. Flavor is nutty and chocolaty with that standard "brown" malt flavor. It finishes dry and rather bitter.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a medium khaki head that diminishes slowly to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roasted nuts and a bit of hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at celtic bayou. Pours a murky dark brown with a loose and lightly sudsy tan head. Lots of drippy lace. Nice caramel nose, a little molassesy, great power and balance to it. Super nice to see in a brown. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel and toasty brown bread on the mid palate with a nice earthy, slightly peaty finish. Best new brown in a while.

Bottle:   Deep brown, thin to moderate off-white head, little lacing.   Cocoa start, sweetened coffee, lots of creamer, seems a bit dry.   Maltly start, cocoa, sweet roasted malts, lots of sugar and cream in this one.   Not a hoppy example, but not overly malty either.   Decent balance, smooth, sweet, not overly roasted either.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with lots of cocoa, a bit nutty too.   Enjoyable!

Roasty, nutty nose, somewhat sweet, chocolatey and fruity as well with some piney/garlicy hops. Pours dark brown with a thinnish beige head. The flavor is roasty up front, chocolate and fruity sweetness on the mid palate followed by piney bitterness. Nice lingering roasty/hop note. Interesting take on style, hoppy american brown. Enjoyable.

Dark malt and aroma hops in the nose. Dark brown color, clear and thin head. Great dark malt flavors nice mild hops makes for a good balance. This was a great drinking beer.

Smells pretty good. Some light roast maltiness. This is also pretty good. The nuttiness/maltiness/hops are constantly fighting. The nuttiness wins out but it’s still good.

Bottle... Poured deep brown with a moderate khaki head. Typical of style. Not bitter or crazy but just a nice nutty, toasted malt presence with a standard yeast presence for the style. Earthy, mildly dry, not too much for hops going on.
