Bottle:   Straw, dirty, slightly darker with a pink hue, small frothy white head, little lacing.   Moderate Raspberry nose, pale wheat malts.   Doesn’t really translate onto the tongue, too soft.   At least its not all that mealy tho.   Soft wheaty notes.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.  Smells good, but its too soft on the tongue.   Faint Raspberries on the finish.   Clean, wheaty, not mealy, but not enough fruitiness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at celtic bayou. I love the name of this one. My grandmothers both had to work, and they disnt have executive jobs. Labor unions protected women like them, to some degree, and i hope i honor the examples they set with their work ethic. Anyway: the beer. This cant possibly be anything like what it was 3 years or even a year ago. Its too good. Pours a cloudy medium gold with a thin white film on top. Mild raspberry nose, fruity but coherent, with some wheat tang for company. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Subtly balanced raspberry and nice husky wheat notes on the mid. Very approachable and refreshing.

Cool pink ruby red grapefruit color. The aroma has hints of raspberry essence. Stale funky wheat flavor with raspberry seltzer too. Very light in body, bad fake flavors. This one sucked except for the cool color.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at WABL Fathers Day BrewFest 2008. Listed as an "American Hefeweizen" on the festival website, but let’s face it: This is a fruit beer. Pours opaque pale pink with a lacy white head. The berries show up just a bit in the nose, along with some wheat character. Light, watery body with faint carbonation. Not much in the taste, being sort of a liquid echo of the aroma. Fades into nothingness.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Schooner. Pours cloudy pale orange with a thick head. Taste is crisp wheat, minimal but present hops, and just a hint of fruit. So easy to overdo a fruit beer, this is great. Light and easy drinking, with just enough flavor. To be fair, the bike ride down there made this taste even better, but it’s still an awesome summer beer.
