bhensonb (3134), Woodland, California, USA Nov 16, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Amber color. Nice citrus aroma. Flavor seems more a mix of citrus & pine. Just excellent. WeeHeavySD (2027), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Oct 22, 2008 Bomber from Aspidites, shared with my girlfriend Cyn. Pours orange with a big puffy head. Nose is hoppy with big citrus and pine. Taste is piney, with hints of citrus, puckering grapefruit. Really nice rich citrus flavor, even though I probably should have opened this a ways back. Really tasty IPA, look forward to trying this fresh. ZazuH (27), Brentwood, California, USA Sep 22, 2008 Draught - Bright orange w/ creamy, diminishing white head. Nice lacing. Lots of pine, grapefruit and honeysuckle in the aroma. Medium bodied w/ a smooth mouthfeel. Almost a perfect balance of malt and hops, the floral essence of the hops is really front and center. Resinous pine and citrus flavors abound. Finish has a dry and slight mineral quality w/ a lingering citrus rind bitterness. fidel (312), Livermore, California, USA Sep 7, 2008 Light amber, clean, sweet, hoppy, malty, piney, floral, caramel, slightly fruity, dry, AgentSteve (919), SF Bay Area, California, USA Apr 16, 2008 Updated: Jul 27, 2008Secon time having this because I think I had a bad glass, I now thinkk it was a different beer that I had. The color is a golden copper with a decent off white head. Nose is quite hoppy with pine and floral notes. The flavor is smooth malt in addition to the biting hop influence. Clean, smooth finish.
