Draft. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Toffee and caramel aroma. Tofee and darker malt flavor with some cocoa, fig/dates, and light yeast. Medium bodied. Toffee and darker malts linger with yeast and fig/dates.

On tap at E.J. Phair in Concord. It pours very dark brown with a little red in the light and a creamy yet shrinking light brown head. The aroma is very sweet and rich with caramel, maple syrup, raisins, and buttered toffee. The flavor is really nice with some dark fruit like fig, raisins, and plums combined with some maple syrup. Not as full bodied as you might expect. Not much of a Belgian yeast character either. Somehow this manages to finish on a dry note. Nice beer.
