stoutlover72 (1342), NorCal, California, USA May 29, 2008 Schooners headbrewer Craig brought a growler of this to our most recent tasting. Having him tell us about brewing the beer while drinking it is just so damned cool. The beer poured out a opaque, canary yellow color with a two-finger thick head. A nose of coriander, lemons and orange peel greet the nose. Wheat plays a prominent role in the flavor of this beer with some orange peel and coriander creeping in behind it. Solid, easy drinking wit. beerguy101 (3542), Newark, California, USA May 26, 2008 Tasted at the May Northern California Beer Tasting. This wit poured a hazy fizzy yellow color from the bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is yeasty, fruity, lemony and spicy. A light to medium bodied wit. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are spicy. A nice crisp and clean wit. Lots of lemon peel and coriander. Crisp and clean. A nice light and refreshing beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter AgentSteve (919), SF Bay Area, California, USA May 16, 2008 Pours hazy yellow. Funky nose and complex, citrus, clove, and again, funk.
