3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had this at bar in Berlin. Decent IPA, with a good hoppy nose. The finish felt abrupt to me, however. I’d get it again, if only for the novelty of a German IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2013 Bottle at Bierkombinat. On the way to Berlin I watched the film ’Predator’ with Arnold Schwarzenegger so whenever I see this brewery name I automatically think to myself in a classic Arnie accent "get to the chopper!" I realise that’s probably not funny to you, or even relevant to this rating but I felt it needed to be said. Anyway, fairly hoppy is this, with smooth pine & grapefruit whilst remaining quite easy drinking at the same time. My first from these guys, and it bodes well for the 2 others packed safely in my bag for when I get home.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Cloudy deep golden color with a big off white head. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Tropical fruity, grapefruit hoppy and malty.
Palate: Medium + body. Mild sweetness, and a fine bitterness. Rich carbonation.
Taste: Tropical fruity, citirc, yeast and a bit acidic.
Overall impression: Powerful IPA. Unusual acidic note. But it just made it fresher.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Grima.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Bierpost.com
Pours with a massive huge amount of foam. The beer is hazy pale orange-yellow. Smells fresh hoppy, very fruity with lots of citrus and grapefruit. Starts with delicious fruity-sweet hops, lots of citrus, orange, grapefruit and maracuja. The middle part has some more orange-peel, paired with bitterish citrus flavor and some slight caramel malt. Finish is fruity-hoppy with lots of orange and grapefruit!

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass very zippy, nice head. Starts intense hoppy, fresh, dry. Bitter background. Fruity notes of lemon and grapefruit, mild sourish. Finish well balanced, still fruity-dry. Nice!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at BBF13. Clear golden colour. Stable creamy white head. Papery and herbal flavour. Medium bitterness. Chalky and dusty and strangely herbal. I do not know what this is supposed to be.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught @ BBF13. Pors clear golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt with pronounced hoppy notes. Bitter hoppy flavour, not deafening though, malty notes, a touch of coriander. Mildly bitter finish. OK but more interesting than good.
