Quack-Duck (1976), Bodensee, Germany Oct 9, 2008 draught @ the brewpub. Cloudy golden-sih pale yellow, large and creamy white head, very persistent. Lovely aroma of wheat and banana. Full-bodied, wheaty and yeasty wit some shy hoppy hints. Pleasantly fruity, mainly banana flavours, perhaps a touch of lemon also present. A delicious Hefeweizen.
GERMAN BEER # 1.000
henrikb (1161), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 2, 2008 Draft - Very hazy pale golden body, little sparkle, very fine and lasting white head; Excellent wheat beer nose, very little malt softness, very little dry hop spicyness and lots of yeast fruityness, and the yeast being more balanced then I have ever experienced in a German Hefeweizen; Perfect carbonation on a super balanced body; Very long finish with tins of aroma. I dont know what to say, this is by far the best most balanced most everything Hefeweizen beer I have ever had.
