Quack-Duck (1976), Bodensee, Germany Oct 9, 2008 draught at the brewpub.Deep golden yellow colour, impressively creamy and persistent white head. Superb aroma of Tettnang hops. Full-bodied, starting with a solid malty base, balanced of with superb hops, very aromatic and resiny at first, becoming quite bitter (still resiny, grassy) in the finish. Quite complex for a Pils and still highly quaffable. Well-matured with smooth carbonation. Brilliant stuff, a beer to spend the night with...
henrikb (1161), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 21, 2008 Pale slightly hazy super beautiful body with a fine sparkle and a very fine white head; Very elegant, very dry nose, lots of different green spicy aromas; Soft very well balanced carbonation on soft fresh body, very mildly bitter with a slight sour touch; When swallowed the hop seriously grows, tons of aroma and a super dry long lasting bitterness. Super, super interesting beer.
