Dark/light brown color, weak shortlived brownish head. The aroma is the best part of this beer - caramel, alcohol and yeast but also some quite distinct notes of fresh strawberry and apricot. Lots of caramel and alcohol in the taste. Not too shabby.

Scopey (6238) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2014
Bottle in Frankfurt. It pours hazy dark brown with a quickly dissipating tan head. The nose is boozy fruit cake, alcohol, dried fruit, cola, spice, treacle and old banana. The taste is tangy, dried berry, booze, cherry cola, dirt, wood, warming alcohol, banana, persistent tart aspect, spice and leather with a hot, dirty finish. Fullish body and fine carbonation. Odd boozy-tangy aspect throughout. Damn hot also. Not great.

Swingtopbottle. Low and quickly disappearing white head. Clear very dark red brown body. Alcohol dominated roasted malt caramel spicy aroma. Alcohol also dominates the flavor but the malt base is solid and caramel and cocoa and a good deal of hops bitterness is present as well. Low carbonation. Long alcohol bitter sweet finish.

19.03.2014, 0,5l bottle sampled @ BBGTC tasting:
Tiny bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is neutral, alcohol, burnt caramel, grass, shed, paper, thinner. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish, grass, almond essence, alcohol, burnt caramel, paper, shed, thinner. Medium bitterness, harsh boozy mouthfeel. Holy crap on a cracker!

Pours a dark brown with a small film of foam. Earthy aroma with hints of booze and sour smoke. Taste is sourly smoke with toasted malts and hints of alcohol. Not very good tbh. Slick on the palate.

Bottle from somewhere, (forgot where) consumed at Haydn & Carol’s Tuesday 4th March 2014 Pours dark conker brown busy carbonation, dark fruits, strong very strong. It is a bit chewy but it is the dark sticky fruits that show the most. Actually just remembered where I got this from it was that place in Citi Europe, Terre de Boissons. It’s fine but I’ve had better Eisboks. A6 A3 T6 P4 Ov12 3.1

KennethArd (217) - Odense, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2013
A lot of sugar in the aroma. Cloudy brown with no head at all. Excessive sweetness and with all too apparent alcohol which almost burns in mouth. Too much sweetness and too much alcohol. Unbalanced.
