0.5l ceramic swingtop bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. This one pours a really deep, quite cloudy dark bronze colored body with only a small quickly sidesticking off-white top. Smells a tad weird. Wet newspapers, lots of bitter nuts, some burned sugar and traces of booze. Not the best aroma I’ve nosed. By far. It doesn’t taste all that nice either to be honest. Lots of sourness. Not sour but more acidic. It’s quite thin and a bit flat in the mouth. Traces of old chocolate and burned sugars. The sourness can remind of something lightly smoked. It’s not something I feel any urge to drink again. 19.03.2014

Butelka 0,1l. Zakupione pod wpływem świetnej "20" okazało się wielkim rozczarowaniem. Piany brak, barwa mocnej herbaty z mlekiem. W aromacie jest całkiem dobrze: karmel, mleczna czekolada, nieco ciemnych owoców. Niestety w smaku jest płasko, a piwo jest wodniste (!) i kwaskowate. Trochę karmelu, ciemnych owoców , mlecznej czekolady, ale wszystko płaskie, bez wyrazu i kwaskowate. Odradzam 13, polecam 20.

Beergaard (169) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2014
Dark/light brown color, weak shortlived brownish head. The aroma is the best part of this beer - caramel, alcohol and yeast but also some quite distinct notes of fresh strawberry and apricot. Lots of caramel and alcohol in the taste. Not too shabby.

Scopey (8241) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 13, 2014
Bottle in Frankfurt. It pours hazy dark brown with a quickly dissipating tan head. The nose is boozy fruit cake, alcohol, dried fruit, cola, spice, treacle and old banana. The taste is tangy, dried berry, booze, cherry cola, dirt, wood, warming alcohol, banana, persistent tart aspect, spice and leather with a hot, dirty finish. Fullish body and fine carbonation. Odd boozy-tangy aspect throughout. Damn hot also. Not great.
