11oz ceramic bottle-shared by jtclockwork-pours black that sheets and still. Aroma is anise, nail polish remover, some dark fruit. Taste is smoke-dark malt, bacon strips, nail polish remover, some dark fruit. Sipping, hot. Apparently better after being opened for 1 month, thanks for saving this.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with no head. Aroma is alcohol, malt, licorice. Flavour is alcohol, licorice, sugar, malt, sugar. Fun to taste, but a little bit too strong.

Bottle at James’ place. Pours deep brown with a thin head. Weird beef jerky-like aroma, like bad cured meats and soy sauce. The flavor has bad meats, sweet soy sauce, and smoke. Not very drinkable. Grateful to have tried this, but damn it was pretty awful.

Bottle #7 of 500. Pours motor oil black. Nose of Beggin strips, boiled ham, liquid smoke and soy sauce. Taste of liquified Beggin strips, boiled ham and cured meats, acetone and cheap liquid smoke. Long smoky alcohol finish. Medium body.

Bottle courtesy of James at a tasting at his place. Pours a deep black to ruby with no head. Smells of alpo, dry dog food, and beggin strips. Sweet, bad cured meats, cheap smoke. Thick, but unpleasantly thick. Tastes like a meat putty. What the hell is this? Why would someone do this to any sort of ingredients? This is a bad thing. Nothing good has ever happened within this liquid. Sweet and horrible. Warm on the finish, more old meat treats come through. This is bad in every way that a “beer” could be bad. DO NOT DRINK. REPEAT. STOP. DO NOT DRINK!

Schorschbock Black Label is like Evil Twin Bikini Beer to Bangs. Pours black. Smells of dog food and beggin strips. Taste is more fake bacon and burning. Really quite painful.

Bottle, thx to yespr. A dark brown beer, clear, without head. Oily pour. Soy sauce, alcohol and some licorice. Dark rye bread maybe. The flavor is alcoholic, with soy sauce, licorice, dark rye bread and lots of sweetness. Oily, full-bodied and warming. Lasting finish with lots of alcohol. Sort of pleasant, sort of unpleasant. Still, I think the pleasant aromas and flavors win. 120218

Bottle. very dark brown with no head. Aroma is little roasted malts, bread and caramel. Flavour little roasted malts, syrup, bread, caramel, fruit, sweet and alcohol.

Clear very dark brown without head. Aroma is sweet malty, roasted malt and lots of alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and very bitter. Very sweet finish with burning alcohol. Oily. 180212

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rye bread, lots of alcohol, notes of fruits, syrop and malt. Sickening sweet and strong. Warming and strong.
