330mL flip-top shared by noodleuser. Thanks Joel! The pour is a flat, deep reddish amber with very intense legs forming with a good swirl. Looks like bourbon. Nose is much better than expected. Really no acetone or fusel. Instead, big ass sugar and cherry pie. Heavy pie crust, baked cherries, rich and heavy profile. A bit of alcohol sting. Really nice though. Taste is sugary, cherry, pretty mild alcohol warming. Still tons of cherry pie and pie crust. Extremely long finish with some pretty substantive esophagus burn. Odd...different from typical bourbon/Scotch. Overall, much better than I expected and certainly worth trying for kicks.

Taster from bottle no. 8/100. Clear amber body, no head. Strong aroma of alcohol. Heavy taste alcohol supported by cloying sweetness from caramel malts. Heavy cleansing stuff. Ølbutikkens smagning of the world’s strongest beers at Ørsted Ølbar in Copenhagen, 06.11.2010.

Sampled at "the strongest beer in the world" tasting session on Ørsted Ølbar. The best of the three. Dark amber with a micro head (but there was one) Aroma of alchohol, brewmash and caramel malt. Not as sweet and sticky as the 31% one but more wellrounded though its more of a bourbon then a beer. Oc alchohol dominated flavor.

bottle @ Ørsted Ølbar strongest beers of the world tasting. clear caramelly brown, small bubbly head. strong alc. in the nose, stings in the nose. below that some caramel. flavor is definetly better than the 31%, nice caramelly flavor, malty, faint fruity, A very heavy bock flavor. In fact a very good strong beer, high drinkabillty. But don’t smell it, it rips your nose apart from the inside.
