Bottle. Tar, liquorice, cough syrup. Not much of a wheat feel here. A bit strange, but not unpleasant.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 yngwie (10754) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 31, 2012
Bottle, at Ølfestival 2012. It’s a dark brown beer, unclear in the glass, and topped by a small, dense, offf-white head. The aroma has caramel, bread, nuts and figs, and a healthy dose of alcohol. Quite sweetish. There’s some chocolate in the flavor, else it’s pretty much like the aroma, some bitterness chiming in towards the very end. Full-bodied, sticky and warming on the palate. Although it’s too sweet and warming, it’s a quite decent beer, but not a beer I could have a bottle of on my own. 120512

Very sweet, powerful, sticky, malty, intense coco aftertaste..
It’s weissbeer, but all characters in a standard wheat is out of place. Too much, too sweet - Taste like an quick blend of dark ale and pina colada. Not drinkable, but certainly out of the ordinary..

A 0,33L swing-top from the Karstadt in downtown Nürnberg, by 03-2016, had closer to room temp. Sweet syrupy nose, red fruit and maple syrup with bacon and smoke. Light wheat and, of course, booze showing. Pours cloudy mahogany with a fizzy tanned head, but that doesn’t last long. Taste is sweet but not cloying (yes!) but the booze heat is again off the charts, burning at first blush but quickly smoothing and soothing its way into my now-warmed heart. Some long sugar chains here, wood and heavy Welch’s grape, apple, smoke, brown sugar and spice. Banana and (especially) bubble gum are late to the party but do make a grand appearance! Sticky and heavily malty full body. I’m amazed at how easy-drinking this is compared to its ill-tempered and maladjusted brothers - I can drink this quickly and not wince, and moreover, the taste has finally reached a balance of goody-good and complexity that my accelerated pace is due to fascination rather than a desire to just get the darned thing over with already. Kudos on getting one right!
