BroueNeault (157), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jan 15, 2005 Yellow and hazy beer with a huge frothy head. Very sweety maple aroma with hints of yeast. Taste of maple, yet the beer is bitter. Very pleasant, but I could not drink too many of this one in a row.
Merci Schoune! french tickler (520), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Dec 12, 2006 Drank in a tulip. Golden hazy poor with a creamy white head. Slight aromas of maple. Other aromas are of bananas, creamy vanilla and a little pepper. Light vanilla with a good maple taste... thats basically it. Creamy mouthfeel. Missing a little bitterness moreover it has a sweeter side to it. Not bad. Ungstrup (11702), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 11, 2006 A hazy yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is powerful with some weird spices combined with notes of maple syrup. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of maple syrup, which pretty much totally dominates, and leads to a dry end. It is very carbonated. This, my first maple syrup beer, makes my wonder if maple syrup works well in a beer. Papsoe (11073), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 3, 2006 (Bottle 34,1 cl) Hazy, pilsener golden with a rather neat, white head. Odd aroma - well it must be the maple syrup. Medium body with some sweet, fruity and rather unique flavour patterns. More unusual than really pleasant. 290806 madsberg (4376), Bangalore, India Aug 30, 2006 Bottled. Yellow coloured. Unclear. Off white head. Loads of marple in the aroma. Sweetness and loads of syrup. Too much. Flavour is sweetish syrupy with loads of woody notes. Light herbal. Is bitter in the end. The maple thing is very dominant thruout the beer.Very special.
