Le liquide est ambré et trouble ,sans col avec un mince anneau.Au nez pas grand chose, les grains pâles mais très subtile.Au goût,pas grand chose non plus, effervescence ok,le malt léger .Pas un grand succès.

Summer 2012 Had this as part of a mixed 6-pack from a convenience store on St-Laurent. It poured a clear light amber with a malty caramel aroma but then with the first sip it completely fell apart. This sucked, the whole 6 pack was horrible, the color & look were fine for each style but they must have been infected or past their prime because every single beer tasted like bile. My brother finished them as no one else wanted to touch the stuff.

pours light golden with a tiny off-white head, no retention. faint malts, some caramel, herbal bland notes, lightly acidic profile - bottling defect. almost aggressive carbonation, very light body, no finish.

Bottled@CPH BeerFest 2010. Golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, mild fudge, some herbs and mild wooden notes. Flavour consists of the same in a quite watery and thin way.

Haven’t been very impressed by Schoune beers in the past so I have avoided them but decided to give them another try. Can’t say I am very impressed by this beer either even if it is not as bad as their other beers I have tried. The aroma is actually fairly pleasant and I initially thought this might be a decent beer. However, the taste is bland and watery with a little bit of caramel. Tastes like a macro rousse. However, unlike some of their other beers in is not unpleasant or undrinkeable. Still Schoune is making a strong case for itself as the worst Quebec microbrasserie.

Belle bière cuivrée, trouble, sous un ample col crème et mousseux. Des arômes incertains de citron, de pomme verte... Très acide. Elle est bien affervescente et laisse en bouche une forte acidité.

on tap. i tried this beer because my friend told me it’s a spontaneously fermented beer, similar to Cantilon. i will admit, i already had a strong dislike for Schoune brews. this is the one that sealed the deal, i will never spend another penny on a Schoune beer ever again. aroma is weak and metallic. colour was ok, but the head disappeared by the time i put the rim of the glass to my lips. taste is cardboard. unpleasant and putrid, actually. this is a horrible example of a beer with wild yeast, and Schoune is a disgrace to the Québec Microbrew scene.
