Pours a cloudy orange color with columns of bubbles forcefully racing upward amd a thick diminishing frothy white head. Interesting aroma of bready yeast, spices and fruits. Sadly the flavor doesn’t deliver on the promises of the aroma, the flavor has the bready yeast, spices and fruits elements found in the aroma but it feels old, the carbonation is way too strong too so that doesn’t help either. The palate is light and creamy but it is overpowered by the carbonation. Overall this beer shows promises of a good time but doesn’t deliver.

Bouteille 341ml. (2005)

Brown bottle, 371 ml; eye: amber with orangy relections, lots of pale beige head, lightly hazy, nice effervescence; nose: faint smells in part because they are trapped in that thick head, yeast, spices, wheat, floral hops; mouth: bitterness first quickly followed by spices; finale where the bitterness returns accompanied by the sweetness/citrus-lime tase of "7-UP" and a hint of pepper, medium body, creamy texture, nice carbonation, light sweetness, medium bitterness,; overall: good FRANÇAIS Bouteille, 371 ml; oeil : ambrée tirant vers l’orangée; beaucoup de mousse beige pâle, légèrement voilée, bonne effervescence; nez : odeurs faibles en partie obstruée par la mousse, levure, épices, fromen, houblon (floral)t; bouche : amertume, épices, finale où l’amertume revient accompagné d’un peu du sucré/citron-lime du « 7-UP » et d’une touche de poivre, corps moyen, texture crémeuse, bonne carbonatation, légèrement sucrée, moyennement amère; en résumé : bonne

Orange beer with a very huge white frothy head. Very pleasant fruity and yeasty aroma and taste. I enjoyed that one !

Bottle was ok but nothing special here. Hazy copper appearance, fast-fading head, light tasting. I’m gonna move on...

At 5% ABV is like a small triple with hints of nutmeg and oranges. Unfortunately, lacks the depth and boldness of regular triples.

Hmm. See CapFlu's rating immediately before mine - same symptoms. Ten months later and apparently still the same infection problems. Looks smells and tastes like carbonated vinegar. At microbrew premium prices, it's just not worth the effort. Bottle.

(Bottle) Must have been excited to see me because the beer foamed up and spilt everywhere. When I got to pouring... well, the best description is "opening the wash at the half cycle." Head dissipates after about 3 minutes. Much sediment but little further carbonation. Orange amber body. Citrus and yeast nose. Thin, light, weak. Peppery, citrusy and dissapointingly.

Light caramel tan. Fizzy. Light caramel yeasty taste. Bread crust finish. Not much going on, but at least it was in good working order.

Hazy yellow w/ white fluffy head (beads a little large though). A sweet, lightly yeasty aroma w/ some clove & spice. Light, spritzy feel. Mildly acidic w/ light fruity (banana, orange) flavours and some pepper. Not particularly well structured.
