rodenbach99 (472), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada Mar 3, 2008 341ml brown bottle.
this is a all natural maple pale ale.
A: nice yellow-golden colour, a bit hazy, no head,
S: strong artificial maple syrup smell (sirop de poteau as we say in quebec),
T: nice taste a bit sweet but not harsh, good aftertaste, the nose would suggest a sweeter taste but no, it’s good enough too ask for a second.
nice pale ale with a nice dose of maple syrup..
Snoro (186), Montréal, Quebec, Canada May 30, 2008 Belle broue! Goute l’érable mais je trouve qu’elle ne dure pas en bouche. Un arrière goût amère. Belle couleur. DougShoemaker (2619), Toronto, Canada Oct 2, 2006 Sweet, maple sugar and malt aroma, hazy yellow, pours a tight finger of white foam, some lace. Even tastes like maple sugar, lots of malt too. Medium bodied, pleasantly sweet, unique and quite drinkable. Surprisingly good for such a sweet offering. La Gout du Quebec! minibus (271), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Feb 26, 2006 This is an amber yellow with thick white head. The aroma is maple, but not maple syrup, I would say it is somewhere between maple réduit and a desert we call grands-pères au sirop d’érable. The taste is maple réduit, citrus and malt. The body is thin to medium. Lubiere (3410), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Dec 22, 2005 Sickly golden hazy ale with thick big bubbled white head diminishing to a creamy lacing head. Dark floaties. Sweet maple aroma laced with lemon pie. In mouth, bready malt with maple wood notes, very yeasty taste, peppery notes. Actually, not too bad considering this is almost a year old . Bought at Joannette, 2.30$
