Biere de couleur caramel avec un collet presque absent et non collant. Odeur d’humidité, salé, pommes vertes et surtout les agrumes. Gout d’oranges, sucré et un peu épicés.

12oz bottle purchased for $2.29 at Metro Joanette in Montreal. Consumed shortly after purchase in Feb 08, but no freshness date provided. Pours a fabulous cloudy gold. Appears to have been bottle conditioned. Aroma is on the light side, but what is there is yeasty and a bit spicy. First taste has that yeastiness and spices that I associate with some other Quebecois beers like Unibroue, but on the lighter note. It’s a decent beer, but it lacks the ’oomph’-y goodness of some of its better brethren.

341ml bottle acquired in trade (I think with sammy). Gusher alert. This one was so bad, I had to pour out the entire bottle in glasses. Poured a cloudy / murky orangish color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of fruits (pears and apples), spices, caramel, and light cardboard (not overly distracting though). Tastes of green apples, spices, toasted caramel, and lightly funky. With the gushing, I expected this one to be completely lost, but it wasn’t.

Thanks to hopdog for sharing this one. Pours a cloudy/milky brown with some orange notes and a smaller bubbly off white head...this one was a huge gusher! Aroma was a ton of sticky malt sweetness, dark fruits, cardboard, spices, leathery and cherry pie. Flavor of dark fruits, some funk, bitterness, green apple, dark fruits, toffee, toasted malts. Lots of tingly carbonation. An infection set in on this one...but not to the point were it ruins the beer.
