Beer3000 (3722) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 17, 2010
Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Hazy reddish orange body with a diminishing off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and spices. Flavor is sweet malty, some caramel and spices with a moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite light but balanced, still to exiting. The aroma is the best part of this beer.

Bouteille 341ml.

Bottle - 341ml. Pours a cloudy brown body with a good off-white frothy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with spicy and toffee hints. Taste is slightly misbalanced. It carries woody and vineous notes and leaves a short, harsh, dry sour/acid finish. With some tweaking, this could be a good winter ale.

Had this one @ CBF 2010. Amber colored brew. Corn and caramel in aroma and flavor. Sweet. Not good..

pours hazy medium dark orange with a rocky but disappearing white head. toasted malts, biscuity, hint of caramel-maple syryp sweetness, yeasty - spices and oranges, lightly hopped - citrusy and grassy. weak malt structure. average carbonation, nothing belgium-bubbly here, light to medium body, sticky palate. meh.

Pours a dark reddish with a thinning white head. Aroma is spicy malt, almost pumpkiny. Taste is fizzy carbonation, heavy, heavy spiced and a small malt backbone. This is almost spiced beyond enjoyable.

MXD (302) - Gatineau/St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 27, 2010
Pours red, hazy. Fruity malt taste, really spicy. Actually, the spices makes that beer a good one, but it’s somewhat overly spicy to the point of disbalance. No annoying Schoune yeast sourness in this one, so it might be a good start for better things to come?

341ml bottle, tulip glass. pours brown amber with a huge off white head, good lacing. aroma is sweet and tart, like raspberry pie. lots of caramel malts in the taste, along with spices, brown sugar and a hint of alcohol on the tongue. body is a bit thin, and not much carbonation going on.
