caledonian (365), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jun 5, 2007 Pours a murky brown with a lot of suspended sediment. Does have a sort of a brown sugar aroma with underlying whiffs of tart berry. Wet fall leaves flavor with a light berry finish. Not great, but the bottle may be off, I don’t like the look of it. Down the drain she goes.
TheJester (510), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Feb 18, 2008 I don’t know what it is with this brewery, but it’s just not working for me. I’ve tried three of their beers now, and it’s as though they do everything right, but they missed out on one crucial step on the instructions. All three beers I’ve tried . . . I don’t know . . . it’s as though they could be very good, but someone mixed up the spring water with the dish water. They’re not missing the ball by much, but they’re missing it just the same. rodenbach99 (472), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada Nov 17, 2007 341ml, brassin exclusif 2005, goût surette pas agréable du tout, aigre, mauvaise bouteille je crois... nuplastikk (509), USA Sep 25, 2007 Murky amber fruity red color with lots or floating particulates. Malty and thick with subtle tangy and sweet tastes throughout. An awesome beer for those into open to the concept. An original. Well done. 12oz bottle. radiomgb (1781), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Jan 3, 2007 Copper/bronze in colour, thin white head, no lacing. The aroma is quite sweet, very fruity (apples, blackberries, some strawberries), light floral hops. The flavour again has lots of fruits (cherries, raspberries, apples), brown sugar, light chocolate. Sweet mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes lingering, slight tang. No complaints with this one.
