french tickler (520), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Aug 18, 2007 Cloudy amber poor with a thin white head. Aromas of vanilla protein, humidity and cream corn... Creamy mouthfeel with a light effervescence. You definitely do not feel the 8% or taste for that matter. Odd sticky somewhat pasty mouthfeel. Its sweetness is off a little, lightly fruity... Meh.
Sammy (3241), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 24, 2007 More of a pale. Malty yeasty aroma and initial taste was oK though sugary. Yeasty head on pale colour. Not very tasty, malty yeasty. A bit of bitterness in finish. It was selling because it’s new and there prominently in his cooler, but not very drinkable. Lace. Cartoonkhaki (1125), Brantford, Ontario, Canada Aug 5, 2007 Bottle.... Coloudy yellow body with white head the goes away fast. Aroma is a mix of grainy and mustiness. Flavour is yeasty and grainy.. rotting fruits? I’m not liking this that much, nor hating it. Sweet and syrupy as well. Glouglouburp (2114), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 12, 2007 Cloudy golden-yellow body topped by a short-lived white head. Weird Schoune yeast that tastes more like infection than anything. Sulfuric. Past due-dates fruits stuggle in a green-apple-like acidity mixture. Raw malt mash without much flavour. Bad tripel (if tripel at all). Schoune Helliac.
