Jan 20, 2004 Pourred a hazy yellow brew with a huge head. The beer almost exploded when I opened it but calm down once pourred into my glass. Good mixed of spices with great carbonation. By reading the comments below, it sems this beer might be a bit underrated, or again, I might have been lucky and got a non-infected bottle from this non-consistent brewery.

Nov 27, 2003 hazy yellow. huge, well retained white hea. biscuity malt aroma with some citrus and mixed fruit. very sprtizy and yeasty on the palate with some refreshing tartness. looks like I was lucky and got a fresh bottle. quite nice.

Sep 23, 2003 Mine didn't explode at all ! And I actually think it was a really good beer. It has a golden colour and a very thick head. Yeasty aroma and fruity and yeasty taste. The brewer may have some bottle problems, but with a score of 2.5 (after 8 raters) I think the beer is underated.

Jul 21, 2003 Updated: Oct 30, 2003Like Radek, the beer basically exploded when opened. After saving the carpet, I was pretty happy it was not the Chimay Red. Very ordinary beer, well spiced if anything.

Jun 10, 2003 (Bottle) Pours a huge, foamy white head and an orange-amber body with a two tier sediment happening - some sort of Milky Way action. Spicy undertones to the orange peel nose. Tart, fizzy, orange and spice. Lacks all complexity. Nice linguring bitter finish. I didn't find it as bad as the individuals at the bottom but...

May 27, 2003 This is Schoune's best beer, in my opinion. Clearly, others don't agree. It tasted like a witbier and was cloudy with notes of mild spiciness. Tremendously mild and lacks the huge rocky heads of other Schoune beers which suggest infection. Reminiscent of Bavik Witbier.
