Golden colour with a white head. Moderate sweet malty nose. Medium body. Mild sweet malty flavour with some light hoppy notes. Probably served a bit to cold.
[On tap at Verdensspeilet in Fredrikstad, Norway]

40cl from tap at Colonel Mustard. Golden with a small white head. Lightly malty aroma with a hint cooked vegetables. Sweet and lightly malty with some unpleasant aromas. Reminds me of cheap pale lager from Asia. Hint of metal and quite watery. I have tried it a couple of times before and it was better then. This time it was close to horrible, barely drinkable. Probably the last time I will buy it. The last time I tied it I thought it was a bit better than the regular Ringnes, but this time it was worse.

larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2012
Small white head. Clear golden body. Light floral mealy fruity aroma with papery notes. Dry-sweetish resiny fruity papery taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mealy, faintly abrasive mouthfeel. Dryish fruity candy and flowers aftertaste with mealy peppery notes. This wasn’t bad at all! I’m surprised. (0.5l draft at Kulturpuben, Lillestrøm.)

On tap at Colonel Mustard, Oslo. Clear golden with a white film. Malt and a hint of dung on the nose. Standard industrial pilsener. Clean and crisp. Well balanced, light bodied and smoothish to drink.

330ml from keg at Håndverkerstuene. One-finger, white head, good lacing, unclear, golden body. Lager malts and hay-like hops to the nose. Dry fruits and pale malty flavour. Rather flat and bland impression, no side notes, though. I didn’t empty the glass (Oslo, 28.02.2012).

Not heavy on taste, but sweet malts dominate both palate and nose, some hops far back there. Clear amber colour, white head. (Tap at The Dubliner, Oslo)

Had this one at Øl & Mat Festivalen 2011.Golden look, average white head. Far grassy aroma, malts. Refreshing taste but not much there. Lightly bitter, light sweetness, some maltiness in the taste. Light body, thin feel, average carbonation, short after taste. Whatever, average norwegian lager. I suspect this come back (this was a brand that was eliminated by Ringnes when they bought it) because the succes of a small microbrewery (Schouskjelleren) that has nothing to do with Ringnes.

Tap at Colonel Mustard Clear golden, medium white head citric aroma, a punch above the other 99999 lagers from Ringnes Sweet and malty taste with good hop notes, and a good bitter finish.

A revived beer from one of the breweries bought up and closed down by Ringnes, on tap at Øl og Mat-restivalen. Much more malty body than the standard Ringnes, cereals and even some hop aroma. This is probably brewed to the old recipe.
